The local, at no cost, and with the help of an intern from Syracuse University, conducted a study on the impact of trade certifications on our members. The study analyzed the correlation of members certifications and the average number of hours worked annually by all members, both with and without certifications.
The study concluded that members with UA certifications worked, on average, 512 more hours annually than those with no certifications. More and more, UA certifications are becoming a prerequisite for hiring on jobs at home and on the road. Any member interested in attending certification classes should contact the Union Hall. We will schedule classes based on your responses. |
